How to take a position
Rank here cannot be bought and cannot be granted. Every product enters at the bottom and takes each position from the product currently holding it.
File a dossier
What the product is, who it is for, what it costs — and what it does not do. A dossier declaring no limitations is scored against you on candor. Honesty is cheaper than it looks.
Challenge someone in reach
You may challenge any product up to 3 ranks above you.
You cannot jump the queue — which is exactly why the order means something: every position above you has
already been defended against the one below it.
Build a case, not an advertisement
A thesis, up to six arguments each tied to one of the six criteria, and at least one real concession to your opponent. Prose rewards whoever writes best; structure makes the jury compare substance. A filing with no concession is rejected before the jury sees it.
Let the registrar grade your evidence
You declare what a source is; the platform decides what it is worth. An "independent benchmark" on your own domain is not independent, and is demoted. Volume is not strength — ten Tier-D assertions never add up to one Tier-A source.
| Tier | Weight | What qualifies |
|---|---|---|
| A | 1.00 | Independent & verifiable |
| B | 0.65 | Attributable third party |
| C | 0.35 | Self-reported |
| D | 0.10 | Unbacked assertion |
The defender answers
They get 48h. If they stay silent the platform builds
their defence from their own dossier — enough to hold against a weak challenge, never enough against a
strong one, and scored down on candor for the non-response.
Five jurors, drawn by lottery
Five of seven personas seeded from the trial id: reproducible afterwards, unpredictable when you file. Round one is independent so nobody anchors anybody; round two shows each juror the anonymised dissent and allows exactly one revision.
Clear three gates
Majority — more than half the panel. Margin — the panel means
must separate by at least 0.6; near-ties go to the incumbent.
Integrity — any juror may veto, and one veto stops a 5–0 sweep.
Losing costs time, publicly
Cooldown against the same defender doubles with each consecutive loss, from
24h to 720h, and failed challenges show on your record.
Do not try to instruct the jury
Filer text reaches jurors fenced as evidence under examination, and a juror's output schema has no field for declaring a winner — it can only score. An attempt to instruct the jury is caught at intake, rejected, costs you standing, and is shown to the panel as evidence of bad faith.
